Hexion Prices Increase is effective March 1, 20 on Resiins and Reactive Diluents - Friday, January 29, 2010

Hexion announced a price increase for resins and reactive diluents of .04 to .08 per pound.  Effective for all shipment made on or after March 1, 2010.  This price adjustment is driven by  increases in the cost of key raw materials.

 
CCP Announces Price Increase for Emulsions - Monday, January 18, 2010

Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) has announced a price increase for all emulsions products. Effective for shipments on and after February 1, 2010, prices will increase up to $0.05 per pound for all ESI-CRYL® emulsion polymers, wax emulsions and resin solutions. Substantial hikes in key raw material costs have driven the necessity for this increase.

 
Hexion Announced a Price Increase for Various Resins - Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Effective January 15th, 2010, Hexion Specialty Chemicals will be increasing prices of several Hexion Epoxy Resins in the Americas.

 
Cytec to Increase Pricing of Melamines and Ureas - Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Due to increasing raw materials costs, effective for all shipments on or after December 15, 2009, Cytec Industries Inc. will raise prices on CYMEL®, MELMAC®, BECKAMINE® and UFORMITE® aminoplast resins in the Americas.   

 
CCP Announces Price Increase on Powder Resins Products - Monday, October 12, 2009

CCP will implement a $.08 per pound price increase for all Reafree® Powder Coatings Resin materials. New prices are effective for orders shipped on, or after October 19, 2009.

According to Ken Moran, Vice President of CCP’s Coatings Division, “this price change is necessary due to the significant and ongoing cost escalation of raw materials used in the production of powder resins which we are no longer able to absorb”.

 
CCP Increases Emulsion Products - Friday, October 02, 2009

Effective November 1st, 2009, CCP will implement a price increase for its’ Graphic Arts and Floor Care product portfolio sold in North America. Prices will increase up to $0.05 per pound for all ESI-CRYL® emulsion polymers, wax emulsions, and resin solutions and up to $0.10 per pound for all solid grade resins sold under the ESI-REZ® brand.

 
Hexion Increases Resins and Reactive Diluents - Friday, September 18, 2009

Effective October 15th, 2009, Hexion Specialty Chemicals will increase prices of their epoxy resins and reactive diluents by $0.03 to $0.06 per pound.

 
Hexion Increases various Curing Agents - Tuesday, September 08, 2009
This summer we have had several increases on various curing agents from Hexion. The latest increase of Epikure 3253 is effective September 15, 2009.
 
Cytec increases Cycat Products - Saturday, November 01, 2008
We have received a price increase from Cytec on Cycat catalysts. These announced changes are necessary to offset continued increases of raw materials. The pricing Cycat products will go up on all shipments made on or after November 1.
 
UV and Powder Coating Additives Increase - Monday, October 13, 2008
The costs to Peninsula of UV and Powder Coating additives continue to increase as we are unable to absorb these increases, it is necessary to pass them along to our customers. We are sorry for the urgency of this increase, but because of current market conditions, these price changes could not be delayed. New pricing will be in effect on all shipments made on or after October 13, 2008.
 
Hexion Bis A-157 Increase - Wednesday, October 01, 2008
Due to increasing dry-packaging costs associated with Bisphenol A-157, Hexion will be increasing the price $0.10/lb for material packaged in the fifty pound bags. Updated pricing is effective on all shipments made on or after October 1, 2008.
 
Cytec Increase - Monday, September 15, 2008
We have received the following price increase from Cytec: “Effective for all shipments on or after Sept 15, 2008, Cytec Industries Inc. will raise prices on CYMEL®, MELMAC®, BECKAMINE®, and UFORMITE® resins in the Americas. These announced changes are necessary to offset continued increases of raw materials.”
 
Cray Valley Increases Additives - Sunday, September 07, 2008
Cray Valley has announced an increase on all of their additive products. These increases are needed to keep up with the escalating prices they are receiving from their raw material suppliers. The price of Cray Valley additives have not been increased since October 2007, they are stating with current market conditions, there should be another significant increase before the end of 2008. Pricing effective on all shipment made on or after September 7, 2008.
 
Toll Products Increase - Monday, September 01, 2008
We have received increases from our suppliers on the various toll manufactured products we sell. New pricing is effective on shipments made on or after September 1, 2008.
 
CCP Increase - Friday, August 15, 2008
According to Ken Moran, Vice President of CCP’s Coatings Division, the pricing change is compelled by ongoing increases in raw material and energy costs. “Despite the ongoing and unprecedented increases—in both size and frequency—in crude oil and raw material feedstock costs, service to our customers remains our number one priority,” Mr. Moran stated. “That includes providing the best quality products, backed by the best in technical support and the best in product research and development. To continue that high standard of service without compromise, the reality of the marketplace offers us no option other than to make this price adjustment at this time.”
 
Nonylphenol Increase - Friday, August 15, 2008
Effective immediately we have received increase from our supplier on nonylphenol. We are sorry for the urgency of this increase, but because of current market conditions these price changes could not be delayed.
 
Reichhold Increase - Friday, August 01, 2008
Due to the recent upwards spiraling of key raw materials; we are being forced to implement the following price increase effective August 1st. Unprecedented increases to the primary ingredients in mostly all of our products are dictating this increase as they have been for the majority of 2008. The escalating raw materials in combination with rising freight and energy costs leave us little alternative but to announce the following price adjustment.

Effective August 1, 2008 Hexion Specialty Chemicals will be increasing both list and off-list prices of the Hexion Epoxy Resins in the Americas.
 
Miscellaneous Increase - Tuesday, July 15, 2008
We have all seen further increases in fuel, energy and raw material costs. Unfortunately these factors make it necessary for our manufacturers to increase prices of their resins.
 
Peninsula Polymers President, Ken Moran to become VP of Coatings for Cook Composites & Polymers - Tuesday, July 01, 2008
We are pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2008, Ken Moran will be appointed Vice President – Coatings for CCP. Ken will replace Marcel deWolf, who is leaving to be CEO of Sartomer in Philadelphia, another TOTAL Chemicals company, effective the same date.

Ken has been President of Peninsula Polymers since April, 2004 and prior to that Director of Sales and National Accounts Manager at Reichhold Industries, Inc. Ken has long been associated with the Coatings industry, active in the industry associations and brings that knowledge along with a strong management background to CCP.
