Established in 1990, Peninsula Polymers original business model was to represent a limited number of suppliers in order to gain an expertise in the technologies and their markets. The fundamental principle is still utilized today.
In 2005, CCP finalized the purchase of Peninsula Polymers, LLC. This acquisition made Peninsula Polymers, LLC part of the Total Chemicals branch, while establishing us as a separate business entity within the group. Total is the second largest resin manufacturer in the world and is comprised of Cray Valley, Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) and Sartomer.
Today, Peninsula Polymers, LLC maintains a healthy balance of domestic and international suppliers. The purpose is to have the ability to supply our customers with high quality products and unsurpassed technologies. The majority of our product lines remain true to this concept of focusing primarily on resins. However, we have added some specialty items and additives to further compliment our existing resin products.
