Peninsula Polymers is excited to announce a new supplier partnership with Fuji Silysia, representing their micronized synthetic amorphous silica-gel product lines, SYLYSIA and SYLYSIA FCP in the central and southeastern United States.  

SYLYSIA products are highly effective as matting and anti-caking agents. With adjustable pore volume, particle size, and density, they provide excellent performance across various applications. In the paper and ink industries, SYLYSIA materials are widely used to enhance ink receptivity and improve functional coating performance.

SYLYSIA FCP are non-carcinogenic, odorless and tasteless. They are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for both direct and indirect food contact and are classified as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS).

Peninsula Polymers is excited to announce a new supplier partnership with Primient Covation, representing Susterra® 1,3-Propanediol (PDO) for the CASE market across the United States and Mexico, effective April 1, 2026.

Susterra® PDO is a 100% bio-renewable building block that offers formulators a drop-in, performance-neutral or performance-enhancing alternative to petroleum-based glycols and diols, while supporting VOC, carbon, and bio-content goals.

This partnership expands our ability to support customers across alkyd, architectural and industrial coatings, waterborne systems, epoxy and flooring, and UV-cure technologies.

Peninsula Polymers Completes Acquisition of New Distribution Center in Indiana

Leawood, KS, December 1, 2023 – Peninsula Polymers, the North American leader in specialty chemical distribution, is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new 32,000 square foot facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

“We are always looking for opportunities to better serve our customer base and we felt this warehouse was the perfect addition to our Midwest footprint,” said Ken Moran, President. “We are excited about the strategic investment in the region and are looking forward to 2024.”

“We have started ramping up operations at the Fort Wayne distribution center and expect to be fully operational by year end,” said Richard Daigle, Director of Operations.
