PPI 13-5015 Epoxy Ester Emulsion is a long oil epoxy ester emulsion supplied at 44% NVM in a blend of water, aromatic 100, propoxy propanol, xylene, and aminomethyl propanol. It is designed to be used as a modifier resin in polyvinyl acetate emulsions and thermoplastic latex resins. The incorporation of PPI 13-5015 Epoxy Ester Emulsions at modifier level into these resins will yield coatings with greater hardness and wear resistance, reduced water and stain development, and enhanced corrosion resistance. Also, adhesion to old, chalky painted surfaces is improved.
