COAPUR™ 980 W

Coapur™ 980 W offers a unique pseudoplastic rheology profile, performing strongly at medium shear rates while contributing significantly at high shear rates. It builds low shear viscosity reasonably high in order to help optimize both levelling and sag resistance. Coapur™ 980 W is an associative polyurethane thickener that is free of solvent, Alky Phenol Ethoxylates (APEO), tin and heavy metal. It opens new perspectives particularly for low emission water-based paints needing attractive in can appearance, tool load, outstanding coatings properties and color acceptance. Coapur™ 980 W is easy to use and suitable for automatic dosing systems thanks to its low viscosity. Coapur™ 980 W is designed to be used solely or in combination ideally with high shear viscosity builders such as Coapur™ 2025 when brush drag, film build or spatter resistance need to be increased specifically.
