EPIKURE 8540MU60

EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 8540-MU-60 is a modified polyamidoamine adduct supplied in a carefully selected blend of organic cosolvents for use, with EPI-REZ™ Resin 3520-WY-55, in the formulation of two-component, water reducible epoxy coatings. This product has a higher flash point and lower odor than EPIKURE Curing Agent 8536-MY-60. EPIKURE Curing Agent 8540-MU- 60 can be used as a direct pound-for-pound replacement for EPIKURE 8536-MY-60 Curing Agent in waterborne coatings formulations. Coatings based on this binder system possess good corrosion and water resistance. Waterborne coatings are easily formulated to VOC levels less than 2.5 pounds per gallon. Primer formulations exhibit strong adhesion to numerous types of metal substrates which make these systems ideal candidates to replace solvent-based epoxy-polyamides in general purpose applications.
